Planning to travel? Departing soon? To prepare for your trip, make sure to check the entry requirements in the country of your destination.
It is your responsibility to meet these requirements and to bring the correct travel documents with you. This includes a negative Covid-19 test, if required by the authorities in the country of your destination.
Your well-being and health are at the heart of our concerns. That's why we have implemented special health measures at each stage of your Journey.

Curfew in France
Air France has taken note of the government’s announcement of a curfew in Paris and several other French cities. Air France has stated that travel to/from airports would be authorized during the curfew hours for passengers and any accompanying persons, on presentation of the passenger’s air ticket. In addition to the presentation of the plane ticket, an official attestation from the authorities is required and is available here.
At this stage, Air France’s flight schedule remains unchanged.

CHECK ENTRY AND STAY REQUIREMENTS

We strongly advise you to check the entry and stay requirements on the embassy websites of your departure, transit or destination countries. You can also find this information on the TravelDoc and France Diplomatie (in French) websites.

Departing from France

Special travel documents may be required by the authorities in your departure, transit or destination countries, including in the Schengen area. You must present all mandatory travel documents before boarding and upon arrival at your destination.

In addition, some destinations may require quarantine upon arrival, a recent negative Covid-19 test (PCR test) or other health certificates.

You will not be allowed to board if you do not meet the entry requirements in your destination or transit countries.

Please make sure to verify the entry and stay requirements in your destination and transit countries with the relevant authorities.

Arriving to France

  • To enter Metropolitan France from the United States, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates or Panama, you must present a negative Covid-19 test (PCR test) taken less than 72 hours before your flight. 

  • For passengers arriving from Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil,Dominican Republic, India, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Maldives, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Oman, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Qatar, Serbia, South Africa and Turkey: a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR test) taken less than 72 hours before the flight is strongly advised. 

  • To enter the French Overseas Territories, you must present a negative Covid-19 test (PCR test) taken less than 72 hours before your flight, regardless of your country of origin.

COVID-19 TEST

In order to help you carry out a Covid-19 detection test (PCR test), Air France has set up partnerships with the Synlab and BioGroup laboratories.

You can find below the list of laboratories carrying out PCR-Covid tests:

We advise you to make an appointment in advance (test to be carried out before your departure).

Since 26 July, COVID-19 screening in France is covered by health insurance without a prescription, regardless of your destination.

You can also visit the Doctolib website to make appointments with other laboratories performing Covid-19 PCR tests.

The list of laboratories is provided for information only. Air France declines all responsibility for the conditions and consequences of carrying out the tests.

If you present symptoms related to Covid-19 (cough, fever, headache, breathing difficulties...), you should postpone your trip and observe the health recommendations of your country of departure.

Body temperature measurement may be implemented at the departure of some Air France flights.

CABIN AIR RENEWED EVERY 3 MINUTES

  • Our aircraft are equipped with an air recycling system consisting of HEPA «High Efficiency Particulate Air» filters identical to those used in operating theatres, which trap 99.9% of particles.
  • The air in the cabin is therefore renewed every 3 minutes.


DAILY CLEANING AND REGULAR DISINFECTION

  • Vacuuming of carpets and all seats, as well as head covers
  • Cleaning of all hard surfaces, e.g. tablets, armrests, screens, remote controls, baggage compartments, windows and toilets

INFLIGHT SERVICE

  • As soon as you arrive on board, a disinfectant wipe is provided for your use.
  • On flights lasting less than 2hr30, we are resuming our beverage service and on our flights lasting more than 2hr30, a snack offer will once again be available.
  • On our long-haul flights, we are gradually reintroducing a fuller meal service with more choice and individually wrapped products.

Air filtration in cabins

Our aircraft are equipped with an air filtration system consisting of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters identical to those used in hospital operating rooms.

Cabin air is thus completely refreshed every 3 minutes. These filters eliminate more than 99.97% of bacteria and viruses, ensuring an excellent air quality in our cabins which fully complies with health standards.
